Blogs are all the rage in 2026, right?
Hi! My name is Josh, and I had a dumb idea. I think a lot about games and books and other artistic stuff. I often have a lot more to say about them than is appropriate to talk about while catching up with a friend at lunch. I’ve thought in the past about writing long-form video essays about some of these games, but between the amount of time the video-editing process takes and my hunger to keep moving on to new stories, I decided that a quicker way to document my thoughts would be to start a blog journaling about these works after I finish them and keep a record of the things I’ve enjoyed (or endured, as the case may be).
I’ll start by rewinding the tape to December of 2025, when I finished Persona 3: Reload, and work my way back up to the present one article at a time. It’s kind of like starting a New Year’s Resolution, only we’re solidly into April.
I’m not sure what sort of structure I’m going to take with my actual posts, but there’s enough difficult stuff going on in the world and I want this little corner of the internet to be a space for hope and positivity, so I do intend to try and end each post with a section on what kind of person I might recommend each work to, even if I might not be that person myself.
Without further adieu, I’ve got some writing to do.
-Josh
